If you pulled the side covers off the card cage try rebooting a few times and error should go away if you are at 9.51 or 12.221 sw rev. If fans run high this is another indication of this issue.
Otherwise you might have rdp or board that has failed. If you have
Hyperterminal try booting again and respond with boot sequence and any put failures.
Occasionally, in my Acuson Sequoia C512 happened an interruption of the work, picture in display and all the keys of keyboard were out of the work. Turning off could be done only by pulling of the plug from the socket.
HDD resulted as corrupted. The old HDD was replaced with a new HDD with the same parameters to the existing one. Installing SW and back-up were done.
Now, during the normal work of ultrasound machine, occasionally again happen interruption of work, all the keys of keyboard are out of work. The clock of machine is stopped. This failure happens during procedure of starting or in the end of this or during of the normal work or in the pause.
I have never seen workstation behand of monitor working. Maybe this may have any connection with the problem.
Does anybody know what happens with this ultrasound machine?
Alfred, i'm working on a similar problem, whit a sequoia c512,
the operator console is non responsive, i cannot turn it off via power button, and it does not show any error on boot up, it shows the image, cannot change probes. it just freezes the console.
did changing the HD. fix ed it?

Would you like help me, i have a problem with a Sequoia 512 the monitor don't have imagen, and don't have the service manual only technical and said me the problem is with the boards BDM and RDP
We are getting the system error that the MO Disk was not ready after just booting the system up while it still has the boot up gray screen with picture of the tree and will not go past this system error into the imaging screen, however it was not doing this earlier today and just started doing this. My colleague thinks he hit a button on the underside of the keyboard earlier that reset the system. Since then we have tried to start it up and first got “System Error MO Disk Not Ready.” But now when we boot up the system with the MO Disk in the drive it now shows the system error that “lynx.os.ssp cannot be found.” I was hoping that maybe you guys might have some ideas about what was going on and how we could address this issue to fix it.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Andrew, your hard drive cable either came loose or your hard drive went bad. Open the back panel below the monitor and check all your cable connections. If system still doesn't boot, you will need a new hard drive. Order the exact model drive that is in there and make sure all the jumper settings on the new drive are set exactly the same as the old drive. After reloading software and restoring from backup, you will be back in business.

You have a bad RDP board. Replace and you should be fine.
