Error 30 indicates no communication to Module 3, the memory module which is NOT the image case. Check all the connections to that module ( Mod 3 is the one inside the carm in that perforated shiney steel box-upper right side viewed from behind). Replace the module 3, most likely Ziehm still has those. I also know an ex-ziehm guy, very smart fellow, who worked for ziehm for a very long time, decades, then left them when they moved to the east coast. He can rebuild your image case or get you another one I am sure.

Thank you, John, I thought the Image case was the problem. I pulled all those connections and reseated all the boards in the case.I think alot of the Ziehm guys aren't that up on the older models. but they can help with the newer. The one guy Dana Hopkins He helped me several times on a Quantum. Thanks again, right now the thing is no longer in use but if I can get it back I'm sure they would be very grateful.

found bad fuses on u180 board,which got rid of error 30 but now when I fluoro instead of my image I have gray scale bars in circle like those on boot up.I am getting x-ray, abs seems to be working but gray scale is all I get in circle. Any ideas.

press shift and edge keys at the same time, check the settings menu and see if it is set to display the grey scale instead of live flouro

John, I came across this posting while doing a Google search for someone who rebuilds Ziehm Image Cases. I may have some business I can throw this guys way on some problem 7000 and Vista + cases. Can I get his contact info?

His name is Lars, a good old German name and his number is 951 317-4895 tell him I sent you. Like I said he was with Ziehm for a very long time before launching his own business. I met him years ago in a Quantum training class.

Hi Sir,
I have a c am ziehm instrumentarium tat had the error 32 but when I push the foot or hand switch the fail dissappaer, now has the error 30 and the equipment is blocked, can you help to solve?
