Fellow biomeds need help ohmeda mod 2 plus problem

I am having a problem with my ohmeda mod 2 plus.
After replacing memory battery it says
to restart 3715? For some reason after loading the disk when you turn it off, it does not seem to hold memory.
Please help!!
