GE 3100 problem
October 23, 2018 09:06
I faced an intermittent problem: collimator power failure in cathlab GE innova 3100.
This error appear from time to time.
When I run the diagnostic from SUIF it states that the collimator is good but when I run it when the problem exist it didn't pass.
I checked the voltage to collimator it's ok.
I tried to reload the RTAC software but with no success.
Any advise?

Have you checked collimator power on mother regulation board when machine is in problem phase?

When the error happens I opened the blades are totally closed.
When I try to move the blades by the joystick it didn't respond.
When I restart it it works normally for a while then it happened again that the blades are totally closed

As I told you below, you need to clean the movable parts inside the collimator

Open the covers and try to clean the blades with WD-40 or any think like it.
Some time a sticky blades are the problem, also when you have this problem, open the cover and have a look inside.
