Unit started with intermittent 462 error. Changed batteries, after battery change unit will not get through tap calibration? Have changed cpu, kv/fil 1khz all relays low volt power suppy cable frome cpu to lvps. Replaced tube, checked spark gap and replaced all SCRS no change any ideas?
What are you using for test equipment to monitor KVP ? If you are using non-invasive such as a Keithley you must lie to the cal. @ the low KVP start point by about 10KVP as the low end threshold of the Keithley will cause issues. The best set up is a drop tank and scope. Also if you didn't swap out the battery RAMs on the CPU board you might try loading system defaults and try recalibration again.
Check the +5 volts at the +5volt and GND TEST POINTS on the CPU Board. If it is anything less then +4.9 volts RESEAT the power connector DIRECTLY below the Test Points; coming from the Low Voltage power supply LVLE and the respective connector J2 on the LVLE.
1. Check Wires To Q3 Block On AMX1A4 Panel For Loose Connections
2. Faulty MA Metering Circuit - Or Out Of Cal â (AR125, Pin 1 Or TP-3 [Ref. TP-5] On FIL/KVP Board = 4.7V/100MA)
3. Batteries May Be Soft - Refer To ERROR 465 - Could Be 1 Bad Cell Up To Full Pack
4. Could Be Faulty H/V Bleeder
5. Charger Board Failure Or Fuse F4 Open
6. ERRORs 462 And 466 - Tripping Breaker With Exposures Above 48 KVP = Replace H/V Transformer
7. ERROR 462 On Exposures >70 KVP And ERROR 439 <70 KVP = Excessive Exposure Time (> Closed Loop Resistance?) = Re-Calibrate Unit
8. ERROR 462 During Cal. With NO Exposure Termination (Counts Actual Time)âIn Check-Sum Bypass Mode, The Exposure Terminates Normally (Uses Time Selection ONLY). Solution: SPARK GAP SHORTED.
9. FIL/KVP Board J3 Pins 3 And 4 (Jumper Has High resistance)
10. Loose Battery Connections
