I am repairing a GE BRX x-ray system that displays error E12 (mA out of range.) It has similar generator as PROTEUS. All the jumper and dipswitch settings are ok both on the console and HT control board. There is less than 10V at the capacitors. The system preps for exposure (rotation) sometimes and then stops. There is no radiation.
Can anyone help with the situation?

You must check, first, in small focus and in large focus, all Ma station, if doesn´t xray for all, you have a problem in Filament driver (you can remove collimator and check if filaments light), if some station works, you must recalibrate Ma.
What do you mean "sometimes" rotation?

some time it dysplay this error when the tube dont shoot xray, could be the KA board
