GE CT Applications SmartScore

July 22, 2012 02:00

Is anyone familiar with GE Smart Score Application need some clarification to below:
If so I have a question I need resolved by Mon! My question is that my customer has a GE 8 Slice with Smart Score and no AW, I've been told that it can run without one by GE people etc. The person who is buying it said it has to have one! I think this was released first to work just right off the system! Then it was released on 16 slice with an AWS and then it was released to work on all systems with AWS. Can anyone clarify this? I've looked online and thru manuals. Only thing I can find it was released in 2004 on 16 slice but my system is 2004 8 slice. I would appreciate assistance and explaination very much!!!

Hello Karlie. You do need a ADW workstation with Cardiac software applications installed, for Smart Score because it calculates Calciam deposit in cardiac vessals for which images needs to reconstruct. So I will recomend to buy a workstation. I help help in getting you one if you need.
