This is something I would not attempt to do in the field and especially without a clean room and proper techniques. Unfortunately even though the detector appears to be repairable I would leave that to the experts

I have found hilight detector MODULES inside the detector OF a HISPEED LXI TO BE DEFECTIVE .could it be attemted at component level repairs.
