at power on you may have an info whre the system stoped by watching leds on right side panel you have the tell this info first
of course if all power supplies are ok.
according to this information you have 32H message
(no 5,6 means 3 2 means 2 in binary)

so your DMC board or hard disk is defected
you can skip power on self test(i am not sure but you have check pls push down 8 dip switches )

ok, thanks for your help. I will try the DMC board, but, why the system does`t show the "system preparation"? this problem is independent from the DMC board, i think. any idea?
Most probably you have a defective HDD. Please check that your HDD starts spin when you applied power and if it is ok try to reload software before order controller board, also some times the board which attached to HDD may fail..
i had a new error on the status led, the leds 5 and 0 are lite on. This is the error 21H? i dont know if this is the correct error code. how do you read the leds to obtain the code?.

If there is no change in the leds while the system powers up, take a look at what leds are lite up in right side panel, that will give you an idea on where to start. and make sure you're booting from the hard drive, not from the floppy.

ok, i watch the leds in the right panel. The leds nº 6, 5, 2 and 0 are lite up. How do you read the error code from this status leds?
