ge ct scan
September 13, 2015 10:36
hi everyone,
we have a problem with our ge ct/i scan. it is an octane system. the issue is when we turn on the machine it will power on until it will display a hardware reset successful on the rx monitor but at the display monitor the message OC initializing still there. after awhile it shutdown the system until it will show the message-press restart to statt the system. the process will just repeat over and over. can someone tell me what causing the machine shutdown itself. i already tried to reload the software but only on the oc side but the problem still exist, thanks in advance

System cannot recon rat gold test image so it shuts down. Could be bad Pegasus IG or high speed data disk or Motorola CPU board controlling Pegasus. Lights on Motorola bd and Pegasus board will give you clues as to if they are booting properly.

Hi Angela.
It is very possible that the problem is that the raw data/scan disk is bad.
Try to stop the boot up process and log in as root/#bigguy and run reconfig with regeneration of database.

Your problem is not the mouse and or the keyboard. If you regen the high speed data disk no system info is lost it only reformists the raw data disk which has nothing but raw scan data on it. Your problem is in the scan recon system somewhere. Which does include the scan data disk. You can (should) watch the screen as the scan disk is regenerated to make sure there are no errors.
