GE CTi CT Scanner booting problem

December 12, 2010 05:19

Hello:
I have a booting problem with a GE CTi CT scanner. When starting the system most of the time towards the end of loading the software, it doesn't performs the scanning reset, RECON is paused and the system sends a "PANIC: tblmiss: invalid kptblentry" error message. I have loaded software, replaced the SBC Software and Scan Data Disks. After loading the software I was able to even perform several reboots without any problems, I was able to perform scans and get images without any problems, but after turning off the scanner, problems started again. I have swaped the memory banks in the Indigo2 and I have even tried to work with just one memory bank and I get the same error message. I will appreciate any suggestions to solve the problem. Thanks
Elias

I have never seen that particular problem, but given what you have replaced so far, I would check the power supply to the SBC rack and suspect the SBC computer board.
