we encountere some problem with our ge ct scan machine.. it is an octane system, after powering up the machine the sbc will go up and load all its application and the hardware reset become succesful but after sometime it the machine will go shutting down without doing anything. we will start it again but the same process will come which go shutdown by itself.what is causing the problem..thank you for all the advice.
As Mr. Khan suggested this will more then likely work or as maybe a quick fix try this. at the " 5 second apps square stop it login and from the root menu run resetdatabase no spaces all lower case. BTW you can replace the drive with the 9 or 18 gig drive. If for some reason this will not cure your problem its time to think about finding an experienced eng. it will get complicated in this forum to walk you through vxworks troubleshooting. the diags are good enought o put you on the rip scsi or peg.bd as your problem.
Can you check the error log that would be help ful if not then i think probably sbc scam data disk or try to regenrate database and clear the patient data in database regeneration
