A GE HiSpeed advantage ct scan report an error messages during boot up. " scan hardware reset failed" at the error log it posted " 38volts
power supply for the stepper motor is too low (35V)"
May i know what could be the possible problem and solution?
It could be few things one is the 38v power supply, or the collimator power module. Check your fuses, power supplies.............................................
Disconnect Collimator Servo Motor Drive And check the voltage on its Power Supply output. If missing, repair the P/S. It is a very simple analogue P/S with few components on it. If Voltage present on output that time (without load) it is maybe just a few adjustment on the P/S and becomes operational. The 38VDC is not a criteria on collimator P/S. You can lower it and then the operating Current will be lower so, the P/S can restart. I faced similar problem before. Good luck
