GE LightSpeed QXi Axial Encoder Calibration Problem
August 24, 2016 10:33
Hi everybody , I have problem with Axial Encoder Calibration after replacing the gear to new one. i have turn on the machine today to fix the C Pulse issue with our machine. After i turn on the machine i switch off the AXIAL DRIVE and HVDC switches. When i rotate the gantry i realize that DS3 is not light up when the home position plate is on the middle of the opto sensor. But i read the manual and there is said that it should be lights up right. When i turn on the switches and press the laser button gantry is starts to rotate and DS3 is lights up but DS5 is not , and there is no laser lights up. What can be the reason for it.
Thanks to all.

Yusuf, Is the gantry square or is it curved at the top? You can give our tech support line a call and they can walk you through it. The c-pulse is very sensitive rotate the gantry very slowly until the c-pulse light blinks then you can set the home flag. 615-448-6095 ask for CT department

You may have a broken fuse in TGP board (in the rightft lateral big one, from behind ) a little plastic square fuse open, or maybe is a fuse at the back of the gantry in the right lower part (protected with a transparent plastic).
The adjustment of C pulse is very accurate, is better to do with no light.
