I have a problem with a Logiq 700 Expert.
The machine doesn't start up well; on the MVME 2700 761 I/O board the amber LED BFL remains lit.
Sometimes after trying several times it does start up and works without problems for hours.
Has anyone experience with this kind of problem ?
Any help would be much appreciated.
hi i had problem with a 700 that doesn't want to start up it used to "freeze" in certain places in the loading process. all the time the problem was in the power supply boards.
check if the PS boards are giving the correct voltage, if one is no working the system could fail, sometimes just a board doesn't let the system works well
regards
Your comment was very helpful, Rosanna, and I sincerely thank you for it.
Again checking the voltages showed a problem with PS2 (50V and 70V); when these voltages are present the system starts normally.
Perhaps this has something to do with one
of the probes giving trouble lately.
hi
I have the same problem with 3 of the ge logic 700
the firts time we have used the machine they start normally afetr a period of time the startup is very difficult, you have to try several time before it will boot.
The fact is I am using a 220v system with a step down transformer to 110v because i have purchased them in US. Could it be the reason to have such problems.
Please if anybody has faced this kiind of problem help me to overcome it

hi you have a problem with the powers supplies, check the voltages in every board, this is comon in the 700's they are very delicate talking about voltage changes, ive seen this problem often they work fine but when the system is hot starts to failure
