GE Logiq 9 Video Printer problem

February 05, 2017 03:23

Hi there,

I have a problem connecting video printer to my GE Logiq 9 Ultrasound machine. I bought the machine and the video printer came together with it, it is Mitsubishi video printer, but the machine doesn't seem to have video printer output... Actually, it has one on the back panel but I cannot get any signal to it. Inside the machine, at the place where video printer sits, there is only 3 way splitted standard power cable so it is possible to power three devices, but there is no any video signal cables. I bought the video cable and tried to connect to back panel, but there is no any video coming out, also tried to measure the video signal lever with CCTV measuring device, it also cannot detect any video signal present on the back panel video output. Please suggest if someone has some good idea what to do or what to try to do... I tried to connect and setup inkjet BW printer on USB and it works fine, but the image is not very good, low contrast and low quality of print makes hard to read diagnostic image and also, I experienced some problems with loading OS when USB printer is connected, so I connected the InkJet printer via WiFi Acces point to ethernet port on ultrasound machine, it is more stable, but often it happens to stuck transferring images to the printer and it is very slow procedure to delete print jobs in printer settings. Please help. Thanks.

The Mitsubishi P91 is supported at rev 2 and 3 of the Logiq 9 software. You need to use a special cable, part number FB200791 and connect it to A1 on the BEP in order to have internal control of the printer.

Hello Jim,

Thanks for your reply. On my Logiq 9 A1 port on BEP is marked as "NOT USED (was analog printer control)"
How can I know is it working, do I have any signal on this port?

I also found one interesting sticker inside, it is more clear and white comparing other stickers inside, that means it was placed there later after initial installation, it says "BT06 TO BT077 SW UPGRD, PART:H4906SW"

Any Ideas?

Thanks.

Kind Regards.

On the newer BEPs, you can connect a digital B&W printer, a UP-D895 or UP-D897, to C21 using a USB cable.

Good luck,
