I replaced a SGI O2 computer on a GE nxi single slice workstation. ROM version was 4.13 as compared to 4.14 for the original workstation I replaced. I am now getting a HIMV error message that indicates the firmware difference is the problem. Problem seems to be the PROM version. Is there anyone out there that can verify that my assessment is correct? I imagine there is a smple fix for such a simple parts replacement - can you tell me what it is? I have several systems under conract but only one Nxi. Perhaps we can work together. . .

try to avoid use of saveState MOD. only make the installation process like new system.
