Hi, simplest way is to unscrew the cover and go to the sprayer (workshop where you paint cars). They will find the accurate colour and paint the cover better than GE.

They have to be able to withstand bleach and peroxide. and other cleaning chamicals. There are some auto paints that may work but in a nutshell paint with single stage polyurethane paint, but some repair work is being done in basecoat/clearcoat for its ease of blendability, therefore enhancing color match. If that is done, it is best to use a catalyzed basecoat. Now the newer plastic flexible covers need flexible paints. There are flex additives that can be used.
We can do the body work and Paint for you. I am not sure about the codes, but we do a lot of GE products so we would already have the paint. I would have to get with my painter to get those. You can Email me at m.voegtley@classic-imaging.com

almost forgot...I used a boat repair/restoration shop for a CT front cover. Looked like new and they only charge 450.00
