GE precision rxi footswitch problem, not doing flouroscopy.
February 14, 2014 10:06
After getting problem in generator of ge precision RX/i ,( flouro data corrupt) we restored the equipment to its factory defaults and then error was removed but Foot switch stopped working only a single shot acquisition is done by button on console.
Does anybody know about this situation, do i need to enable the footswitch from some where or the flouro is disabled?

Hello dear,
After set your fluoro to factory defaults the fluoro foot switch would not until enabled in the generator config. The faster way is to restore the backup data from floppy disk with gen service software from your laptop service you may have it some where in the site. Or use the generator service from your laptop to access the generator config and set everything by yourself.

Thanks Alain for your kind response.
I haven,t found anything related to the foot switch in genware software although i have enabled the flouro in the fouro setup utility.
Console Collimation led also goes to automatic buttton from bucky collimation button led when foot switch is pressed.
what would be the problem..

it is very possible that some how the collimator type was changed, do you have a backup disk you can restore, this will restore all the CPI configurations. restoring factory defaults sets it up as a RAD room only not a fluoro and it will also change the collimator type to default which requires a SID sense switch be present. do you need any documentation for this unit I might be able to help you.

AS Peoples said just restore the back up and all your problems will be send off I had the same problem but the backup'diskette on site was damage and fortunaly for me in THE city I had the opportunity to copy the backup and restoring and it was ok unless that the tube model may be different but putting the correct one it will be ok that was my case
