Does anyone have a way or a list to know if a board you are changing will be compatible with the software? To be more specific, I have to replace the system interface board for a GE proteus, and have no way of knowing if it will be compatible or not.
Usually, if the string of numbers is the same and only the rev. number is different, it should be compatable. If the G number changes then its a modification of the components on the board, but it usually is still compatable. If the string of numbers changes then it MAY not be compatable.
