I have a GE Sytec 3000 that will not display images from memory. There are two error codes that appear about 1 minute after the system comes up. They are System Error and Task Termination.

Getting ER-001 System Error(Code=F8030001).
System intermittently fails boot up, and sometimes during scanning ER-001 System Error(Code=F8030001) comes up.
Off-line diagnostics performed, and they failed, pointing out to the FPU as faulty. Then further troubleshooting, extended ones for the FPU, using laptop as a dummy terminal, as indicated on direction P9018CC, OC diagnostics, showed that sequence test was failing and hardware involved was FCP2A board.
if not this error then you can do off-line diag and test more but I think should be some board in console ,try reseat first but from experience FCP2A is very high temperature.
if the touch panel can be up,and scanning can be prceeded but with errors,Software reloading is the first choice.AND identify CAL files are allright there.then thinking about Hardware on OC:DMP2 and FCP2A.
if images in HD(images scanned before)can be displayed ,while scanning images CANNOT display with AUTOVIEW:the DATA path chain from DAS to RECON should be checked.to identify this,do
a reconstruction from a Rawdata befor,if not succeed,the trouble wuld be in RECON B'Ds ofcours.
if the overlay disply(characteristics) is also bad,you should think the OVL,IFB2 and other display board.
