VIG is small computer. You can connect to VCT and test easily.
open unix shell;
rsh darc
cd /usr/g/bin
./test_igs
test starts and ends about 20 minutes. normal results;
TEST RESULTS SUMMARY:
ig1 : All tests PASSED
ig2 : All tests PASSED
ig3 : All tests PASSED
ig4 : ONE OR MORE TESTS FAILED ******
[root@darc bin]#
There are several tests also. You can reconfig and flash VIG. You can check PS, fans, temperature with linux command. Also if your VIG is still bad, you can make system run without defect VIG. System can run 1 or 3 VIGs.

We have only the VIG ( Parts No# 5159834/5514533 with VRAC), But we don't have the the console or HP Computer with us.and there is no disk inside the VIG BOX,When we power-on the VIG,the mmonitor shows only the BIOS starting program.How can I get a good disk( with LINUX in it) to test the VIG box? We have 3 VIG box need to be test.

I'm sorry, I reload software only with console. I guess you need console to do. Because during software load procedure you configure and flash software during darc computer loading.
Put VIG in VCT. Then stop application. Open linux shell. type following;
rsh darc (return)
cd /usr/g/bin (return)
./test_igs (return)
test duration around 20 minutes and here is the normal results:

ig3 : All tests PASSED

Hi Lin!
Have you tried to check the VIG standard commands unix? And what shows leds on the rear side, after loading the VIG, are they all green?
