I have this equipment that has problems only with open coils but in the close ones (like the coil for brain or knee)the equipment works fine.
The image is realy bad for open coils, very noisy and granular, but is excelent for the close coils.
Any idea will help.
I still have this problem. In fact, mydoubt is that in a study without coil (only using the body coil) the equipment works fine, but i have the problem in the open coils (like lumbar coil).
Please perform noise check, if you have a noise source, receive coils are more sensitive. Also granulation on Lumbar coils should be releated to Eddy Currents, please check it. At the last preamplifier should be suspect if the above items are ok.
Hi Tayfun, thanks for your answer. I am using the coil named Standard 13x30cm for lumbar. I perform the noise check and nothing come out. This coil is the only one that doesn´t work, but i probe this coil in another equipment and this works fine.
I dont know what else can do.
coil 13x30cm = don´t works (but works in other equipment)
