GE VIVID i Software reload/Configuration Save Issues

Greetings: Im working with a GE Vivid i Base: 1.36.18 & App: 6.1.0 Build 109 with strange software issues. The customer bought the equipment by him friend. When I change the System name in "config" key and then save the change the system saved the change, but when I restart the system, its change back to the last configuration. Also, when I try create the new report template and save it, the report is added to the report template list but if I return to the main screen and press the report key again the new report is missing like can't be saved. I replaced the HDD and and reload the software(manual & automatically procedure) but in both ways when the process finished and the system has been restarted, the system still on black screen with -GRUB message. I have another software version but its for the latest version and the option key doesn't compatible. I need restore the software with the original software. Anyone know how fix this issue?
