If intermittent 430 error--capacitors not charged correctly.
This error may occur if the portable is prepped immediately after the unit is turned on. The commutating capacitors do not have enough time to charge. The problem could also be the measure circuit for the capcitors.
If it is an AMX4:

By now I was in the office so I did not have access to service manual :-)
Yes, the error 430 is when the user presses the button too early for radiation ..This is not a defect but user errors.

Hello, I have error 430, on vmx plus , I measure all fuses are ok,
Hand switch , no one press exp while initialize
I took hand switch of from pcb , still the same
I kept it plugged in for sometime didn't help

Have you measured voltage in the capacitor bank? (between F1 and F2 in the Converter Board.
