hi to all I Have an issue on ge precision rxi e after booting it display GEN RTC ERROR who is err 4 at the error log E004 GEN RTC ERROR Generator CPU Real
Time Clock error.
Generator CPU real time clock is not
functioning.
Reset time and date.
what can be the problem please and how to reset the time and date I have already setting at the factory defaults and re backup the machine and no improvement using the genware utilities to ajust the date and time but it don't move were to reset the date and time?
I don´t know the gene cpu of the precision, but I think you have a problem in a NVRAM chip, the battery inside the chip should be empty and then you have this error. If you like send a picture of the cpu..
