Is it possible to export images from Sytec 3000i with a floppy driver to a PC? I try to export and i can't read the floppy in others pc, theres a specific filesystem or software to do that?
I don't have the ethernet optional, is there any other possibility to export images without the ethernet optional?
The Video capture signal is really in different standard, but i'm looking for another solution because i don't want to use secondary capture.
I'm thinking to export images by floppy, analyze the data and try to convert to dicom. But i couldn't read the floppy in other pc yet. Is it possible?
Sytec 3000i uses VERSADOS operating system. You can get images from floppy but with different format.
There are one option to get images with dicom format. You need ETC board and option floppy to install ethernet option. Then at screen you get menu to send images to workstation.
Second one MOD option. If your system have MOD option you can save images to MOD. Then you can try to open with other similar systems which have ethernet option.
Both of solutions you need options. But I guess GE could not support you. SYTEC systems are EOL (End of life)
Mustafa, i agree that. but i don't sure from sytec + ETC board is possible to send format DICOM,maybe system protocol yms ( i don't remember) and this will be second capture. i have ETC board if you have interest
I have almost ready decision for you. Some time ago I have developed system for carrying over of the data with GE CT MAX640 on PC and transformations of images to standard DICOM by means of a diskette. An operating system - VersaDOS. Approaches also for GE CT9000.
If it is interesting to you then write to me on mikomeduk@mail.ru - I will send you examples.
If yours storage device has interface SCSI then I have a variant of the decision of your problem without use of diskettes - directly from a hard disk. Such way we have applied to reception of images with CT Siemens Somatom CR.

Well if you send images to Adwantage Workstations, SYTEC system send via sdcnet protocol. So in workstation database system stored as DICOM image.
