GEVivid3
June 09, 2014 09:11
HI,
I have a vivid3 working ok in 2D mode but it doesn't work with CFM, CW and PW.The color noise is there, so the monitor is ok.
I am not able to make calibration or validate it, both fail.
monitoring voltages are in ranges.
-RFI tests pass.
-BF tests pass.
-FB: Transmit test pass; receive test J1093/2093 red(out of range, gives 0.00db, normal should be -9.45db)I have replaced this TR4 module with one of the good TR4 modules but the J1093/2093 stays red.
-MUX: gives errors but I am not sure if they are because of FB's errors or not.
-LEDs:
RFI: 505 is red demod error
FB: D3 is off; AVEE5(by measuring at one leg of the LED i got -4.97)
I hope if there is one with good experience with this tricky machines.
stay well,
Imeng

In order to check the HV power supply you have to open the power supply monitoring and then you have to push the colour buttom or the pw or the cw and see what happens to the voltage. When you check the power supply and Vivid is in 2d the HV power supply is not working so the voltages are correct.
