Please advise:
My Philips HD 11 scanner has this error message and would not boot beyond this point after repeatedly restarting it:
"The instrument has detected an internal error and is collecting information to help diagnose the problem/ Please contact your Philips representative. The "Restart" control will be enabled when the information has been collected".

Hello,

Hi, EE!
Most of the times, that kind of message is related to a primary power supply failure (TECTROL).
Other, it might be also related to defective TR boards, or other Front End parts.
A quick test that can be performed is to supply BEP's (PC) power supply from outside, to eliminate a possible failure coming from TECTROL to PC.
Also, run built-in board tests, to check if some error pops up.
