Philips HDI 5000 configuration problem. I am trying to network my machine to a PC with the Showcase software, but it keeps saying the machine is not found in the configuration files. Please help!!
one you have input all system IP, gateway and configure showcase then you have to go to system set up and selct your HDI 5000 from the dropdown menu, gp to net/disk and check the network is "normal"

After I select HDI 5000 from the drop down menu, it makes me reboot the machine. It will not let me do anything else. When it reboots it says it cannot find the machine in the configuration files. I am pretty sure I have done everything correctly to that point.
That did not do the trick. It puts the HDI 5000 in the box, but makes you reboot the machine. When it comes back on, it says the machine cant be found in the configuration files. Contact your service representative. The HDI 5000 is back out of the box, and nothing I have tried with remedy the problem. Do you have any other ideas?
