Hello,
I have an HD1 5000 that is getting stuck in the white or grey screen when booting. If you turn the machine off and on it will boot up sometimes. Could someone possibly walk me through trouble shooting. I would really appreciate it.

Run diagnostics on the system. It sounds like your hard drive is failing. I would make sure you have a back up of the system immediately.
