I have a problem with Hologic Discovery BMD, I done the X-ray alignment and aperture alignment, and the system passed the QC test and every thing look good, after few months the QC failed, I checked the system and found that the X-ray level is very low (bellow the lower limit around 5 volts), I checked the alignments and that is the maximum x-ray level I can get, so I had to adjust the A/D gain for the detector.
I changed the Gain resistor to the maximum value but the x-ray level just get above the lower limit, the system passed the QC, after one week I found that the X-ray level is very high and I had to lower the gain a large value to get to the correct level (6.25 Volt).
it done this several times (I had to increase the gain and after some time I had to lower it).
Hello
You may very possible have a tank problem.
1st, the detector gain adjustment is the last thing to do...sorry
2nd verify voltage, as inside as transformer you are using
3th I am very sure you have a tank problem. It depends on use, if you make a bad transportation movement, and just because of it happen (this las one is very strange situation, but happens).
send me your email if you need more info.
