Hi everybody, we have the following problem with a Hologic APEX Software 12.7.3.1 when trying to execute whole body scan on hologic discovery W model:
Scan ending due to error condition.
Details:
Unable to position device within specified tolerance. State machine error in Task 0 Index 188.
Could anyone help me with this?
Thanks in advance.
Many index errors originate in the filter drum/aperture assembly. I would try the aperture alignment in the service mode. Don't forget to verify the drop pin check. These checks/procedures are found in section 4 of the service manual. Also make sure none of the cabling is on top of the source where the aperture can hit them.

The error could be coming from the table positioning pots. I would also check the table positioning pots in the service mode for linearity.
