Dear
Please I need help
Bone densitometer Explorer Hologfic
When we want to excute QC calibration we have Error message : Exit, repeat the QC procedure and check the phantom position carefuly. System test failed.
Thanks in advance
Hi, you may follow this procedure: Try to enter into service mode, and run "survey", then have a look at the bargraph of the detector outputs. If you don't see any serious problem like bad detectors, bad x-ray source, you may proceed with filter drum checks. Check proper phasing of inner and outer drum using a pin, the condition of both timing belts and their tension per manual's procedure. Check laser's position accuracy and do motor AY calibration after ensuring that nothing is loose (belt's tension, feedback pot).
Dear sir
thank you for your reply
in the survey mode no signal of the detector appear, I don't know if the problem is coming from detector or the x-ray
Hi, first make sure that survey has been used correctly. I supose that you have already observed good detector signal at least once. Perform simple checks of connectors (proper seating). Power down from main circuit breaker. Do reseat all connectors (X-ray controller, detector assy, and c. controller board in the c-arm) Make sure that all screws on the DIN rail and on the X-Ray Tank are tight. Then, start checks from X-Ray source side. Use a Geiger detector (do X-rays exist continuously? Turn them on/off from survey, don't do scans) Have an oscilloscope connected to the X-Ray tank, to check for proper voltage output from X-Ray controller at the same time. Spent some time on this as the problem is intermittent. Check tube current as well. If you catch the problem on the X-Ray source side, this method helps to differentiate between X-Ray controller or X-Ray Tank failure. If the above components are ok, only then you can suspect the detector assy, that is not a so common failure.

Some times the machine normallly and sometimes we have error
Please if you have idea about this problem
thanks in the advance

this could be several things review the error log to get more specific information.
could be alignment, aperture issue, power supply fault?

Hi Abdo,
Kindly send to me the log file and a picture from the error on screen to my email.
