I have the following error... it appears randomly, I checked the manuals and I can't find any information
Scan: 1031:E7: SCAN BRICK ABORT WITH EXPOSURE" "Generator:1:M4 GENERATOR TIMEOUT - TECHNIQUE DATA MAY BE INVALID! and before (
one day before) that came out, I got M-IV ERROR: 30..
I checked the manual, and it says restart the generator...
Can someone give me an indication of what it is? What do I have to do or what part should I change?
maybe we have to change the host microprossesor board?
MIV Error 30 is a generic host to generator comm fault. You can try and reseat all the cables from the gernator and host microproccesor board.
In particular check connection between KJ2 on the host board to AGJ8 on the Genrator micro board.
Another thing to check is your KV level, sometimes if the system requests a specific KV and doesn't get it back (can't get to right level for example.) then it throws this error.
Other than checking other connectors it can also be a delay in in the mirror or filter movement where it takes too long due to dirty gears etc so it thinks it's disconnected when really it is timing out.
