i have a problem on the image of the hsa rp advantage. The artifact is not caused by scanning subsystem but with the display of image on the crt monitor. We think that the problem is on the GFB Ckt bd. We replaced it already but after few minutes, the problem came back. Artifacts look like dots and lines all over the image. With this phenomenon, we tried to check the backplane and motherboard of the genesis circuit boards and found out that it accumulated dirt and dust. After cleaning, we checked the image and observed that it was ok. However, after few hours the problem came back. Could you help us with this phenomenon? The problem is intermittent, for few hours the image is good but tends to have artifacts after pressing the next/prior keys or after few hours.
However if we transmit the images on our dicom device, we get a very clear image which are free from artifacts.

The first two thingso check are the cooling fans in the chassis and the power supply for noise. These systems are terrible about having both problems regularly.
Mr Francis, Check the video signal to the monitor. You can check the video plugs on the computer and on the monitor. If you can, try with another monitor and see what happen. If you can export the images on DICOM without a problem, there is not a problem of the system itself. The power supplies checks it´s a good idea too.
Thanks. We checked the monitor and it was ok. The problem was with the dirt and dust accumulated at the connectors of all genesis boards. We cleaned them again and this time the problem didn't came back until now.
