printer post error of P163 and jams the film, the suckers pick up the film from the pack and positions the film between the pickup rollers but the vac. on the suckers do not release the film and a second or two, the sucker assemble moves to the home position. Your help is appreciated, I would also like to locate a set of service manuals for this unit. Thanks Dan Nace
P161–Media jam at supply
cartridge. Open left door and
remove jam in Area 1.
K211–Media jam in laser imager. Remove jam (see paragraph
3-3-1).
If film is not jammed, try
removing cartridge and fanning
film in a dark room.
Try a different cartridge.
3-3-2. Removing Jams from Area 2A
1. Open the left door (the imager automatically unlocks the door).
2. Squeeze the handle on the transport assembly, and slide the assembly out of the imager.
3. Push in the lever at the bottom of the transport. The film should drop out of the transport; if not, reach
through the access holes and push the film down and out of the transport.
4. After the jam has been removed, slide the transport assembly in until it latches (do not squeeze the
handle on the transport), then close the left door.
