KODAK DR-9000 E43 error

Have you checked the down limit switch located on top of and to the front of the over head tube support and the up limit switch at the top of the tube column?

I found this part of the documentation, can you help:
In the following steps, verify that the UP and Down switches operate correctly at both panel locations.
14. Verify vertical travel by pressing DOWN and verifying smooth and quiet travel. Verify the vertical motor stops when the positioner column reaches its lower travel limit and does not continue to drive against the stop. The top digital display shall alternately display "E41" along with the SID.
15. Verify vertical travel by pressing UP and checking for smooth and quiet travel. Also verify the vertical motor stops when the positioner column reaches its upper travel limit and does not continue to drive against the stop. The top digital display shall alternately display "E43" along with the SID.
16. Verify the automatic vertical collision sensing by placing an object, such as a chair, beneath the vertical column and pressing DOWN, lowering the vertical column against the object. Verify that the motor stops without excessive force when the collision sensor comes into contact with the object. The top digital display
shall alternately display "L83" along with the SID. Verify that the column automatically stops moving when DOWN and UP are selected simultaneously.

For a Versarad System: To override software limits - On the Smart Amp PCB move SW1-2 and 3 to the open position (to the right) Try to drive the column down. Re-Enable software limits to get back to normal mode. If you hit a mechanical limit while the software limits are overridden you will have to clear the error as follows: Lift the activated switch in the carriage and while holding the carriage switch hit reset on the Traumex logic PCB and run the arm up or down off of the limit. Then release the carriage switch.
