HW/SW error: Communication Problems with the Gantry Display
The Gantry Display is NOT Initialized Properly
(Scanning is NOT allowed if the Gantry Display is NOT working)
-- this error appears sometimes and if I turn the system off for a few hours the system works perfectly fine, when it doesn't the Gantry displays continue reseting themselves eachtime.
Host: OBC. Proc: Generator. Error: 185557
Function: XRAY GENERATION: Tube Rotor Control
Could not send HEMRC message in the allotted time.
HEMRC serial link is down. HEMRC_ISO_+12V Failure detected.
-- this error won't let me make any xray exposure, even scouts or tube warmups.
Hi Juan, I didn't have the Gantry Initialization issue anymore until now, so I checked the power supplies in the table (PS1 and PS2). These are the results, I couldn't find the output voltages for each PS in the manuals.
These are the measurements:
Power input for PS1 and PS2 is 124VAC
PS1 (ON TOP) Reference is GND
PS1- 0.00 VDC
PS1+ -24.00 VDC
Hi Juan, so I double checked the Power supplies in the table and the one on the OBC module. I found how to do it right.
The +24, +5, +15 and -15 Vdc are present in the PS2 (Bottom Table Power supply) and the OBC PS.
And there are +24 Vdc present in PS1 (Top Table Power Supply) if I turn the system off for like a day, the problem is gone, but sometimes comes back and can not do anything, cause the Displays are resetting themselves again and again.
I checked the STC power supply as well, so +5, +3.3 and +12 Vdc are present on the Axial Drive board.
I ran out of ideas on how to solve this issue, I checked the connectors going to the table and going to the STC backplane and even disconnected them and plugged them back up, with no success. If you have any idea, let me know, please.

a 8A (F5) fuse blew up in the HEMRC module, so it will get replaced, but I still have the issue of the Gantry display reseting itself everytime, and it doesn't let me control the table to make any exposures.

-V2+V3 -0.002 VDC

+V1PS2 -5.12 VDC
There is another Power Supply on top of the OBC module, that has the same values as PS2.

This may be a problem with the RAC board of the IG computer. Run racdiags from console and check the results.
