I've got a Reconstruction error, so I finally detected that the IG is the problem, I had a 3 beeps alarm sounding frequently from the IG module. I looked online and the 3 beeps alarm is related to the RAM memmory on the mother board. So I replaced them and changed the RAM to the different slots available on the mother board. I found out that 4 of 6 slots are damaged so I put the 128M RAM cards into the ones working good.
So I attached a monitor to the IG module to see what was going on, and the IG module worked good, then when I put the IG module back in the console rack and turned back on, I had the same error when applications came up:
- Waiting for the IG to come up...
- Recon Selftest detected reconstruction errors
But with the monitor connected directly to the IG module I see this line and it stops right there:
- Boot failure System Halted
Right now, I don't know what else could be happening, unless the BIOS got damaged as well.
If someone has had the same or similar issue as I have, please let me know what you've done to get the IG working. Thanks.

Hello everybody,
I've got a Reconstruction error, so I finally detected that the IG is the problem, I had a 3 beeps alarm sounding frequently from the IG module. Hi Francisco,
Are you sure the IG powers up when placed in the console rack ?? Can you see the lights on ??
Can you try booting up with the IG in the rack and with an external montior ??
Can you Ping the IG ??

Sorry about my previous reply. Now I can see you already connected the monitor when it was on the console.
Can you Ping the Darc ??
Is your Darc working ok ??
If it is OK. Enter your DARC Shell and then telnet the IG. Then Run the racdiags to run the Diagnostics on your IG.
How is your Console Configuration ?
- DARC Model ?
- How Many IGs nodes ?
