LightSpeed Plus QXi - Problem with Octane IRIX 6.5 console

Hi there,
I have a LightSpeed Plus Qxi with the Octane (green) console with IRIX 6.5. I had a power failure and when I turned the system back on, All the patient list was gone, empty. And there was a message from the browser on the second monitor: "Is possible that the Browser is not synchronized with the database. Try 'regenerate' the Browser with (Application)->(Regenerate lists) later" So I click the Application button on top of the Browser and click Regenerate lists, but nothing happened.
Right now I can make xray exposures and see the data at the Recon Manager List, but I can not manipulate the data, I can neither set the localizers on the image nor see the patient list to look for any other studies.
If someone knows how to fix this issue, please let me know. Thanks.

Hello Francisco, At this stage you are now I have to agree with Mr.Ali Haidary, you have to seek profesional having the softwares and the specific patches and install on the system. Hopefully, you have system state MOD, If not, the system now is in the state of iron.

Your Image data Disk may be corrupted. There is a way to reset the Image Database from SHELL. You will loose patient data and images anyway though they are already lost. The procedure is in the manual somewhere. I have it somewhere, if you need it I may find it. Tibor tibor@ivanszky.com

Hi Tibor I have the same problem in one Brightspeed 16 system with Software rev 11B46.3. I had this problem in two different systems. Do you have any idea how I can fixed. I did in one of them with software reload and it works, but it is very painfull. If you have better idea I will very appreciate

From service desktop stop applications.
Term window log in as root
reconfigure
Regenerate database
Accept
Let it go through process will ask to reboot. OK

regenerate database clears only data on high speed data disk (raw data). It does nothing for image data on image disk. To reset that (wipe it clean). Shut down applications and log in as superuser (su) then type as follows. cd /usr/g/scripts (press enter key) then type exactly this command, do not type the brackets [resetImageDB -destructive] (press enter key) This will wipe clean and reset your image database.

Regenerate database, but you have to know what you are doing or you will not be able to scan. Better to call somebody that can do this for you.

Hi Juan, thanks for your reply, I did regenerate the database from reconfig, but only regenerated the raw data database. I appreciate your help man.

Dear friend, you will need to have a complete software reload it is better to have this done by a GE trained service engineer.

Try to regenerate database in reconfig, you may loose your old patient images but should get fixed for new examinations.
