during a scan the Lightspeed displays some images but it did not display the rest of the images.
then it shows shutdown on the recon icon
i power OFF then ON but i got the same shutdown
can anybody help me?
Find out from the error log what is going on. Ping your IG's and DARC Computer. Try to reload the DARC software first, then replace the DARC if you can not load the software. I personally prefer to reload LFC the entire software for the Host and the darc computers.
Hello Borhan,
Looks like that you may have problem with Raw Data Disks. Try to do regenerate database and if this doesn't solve the problem then try with replacing the disks.
thank you all
note that it is GOC2 console (Linux base)
I entered the recon management menu and did the following:
1-pause Queue
2- delete Retro Entries
3- restart Queue
the shutdown changed to idle and the CT worked
but the trouble is intermittent
i did recon data path test it passed
i made a 2000 loop i got about 5 failed tests
i repeated the 2000 loop many times, sometimes i got it all 2000 pass and sometimes i got about 5-8 failed
please help me find the cause
First, what kinds of images are displayed? If you have scout scan images only, the problem is IG. If you have axial or helical images, the problem is more complex.
Grab the error log and send it to me:dragos.mosneagu@tmsro.ro the procedure to get the log on USB Pen is:
Open a terminal window and became Super User
connect a USB memory to a free usb port in the console
mount the USB memory using the following command
mountUSB
once mounted you can copy the files of interest into the /USB directory
in the case of service log
cp /usr/g/service/log/gesys*log /USB
once you have copied all the files of interest unmount the USB memory
unmountUSB
and you are done the log file is now on your USB pen !
In meantime check if your DARC and IG (‘s) are on, connect an external monitor on IG and DARC to see the status.
dear all
I'd like to add:
1-there is no DARC in this CT it is GOC2 console (HP host)
2-the error massage when i did recon data path is ' sdc post checksum mismatch'
Probably your problem PEG IG
Did you run diagnostics?
1. ReconDataPath
2. RIP Diags
3. IG Report Self Test
To see the errors you have to go on: /usr/g/service/tools/added_tools/Image_Gen_Test
Possible causes are bellow:

Dear All
thank you for everything
i tried another RIP board then i get back to my RIP, so i got another trouble: the RIP became bad.
I am sure that the RIP is bad because the LEDs of the RIP is OFF all the time.
and i found semi-short in the RIP (C6 and C10 and some other caps measure 10 ohm comparing with 1000 ohm)
is the RIP sensitive, so it may damaged when it removed and seated again?
is there any recommendations from an expert?
Regards
I'd like to add question:
I have been struggling with a reconstruction troubles since 2009.
do you think the GOC2 console(which has ICE box and HP PC) is not stable and reliable console?
Dear all
I'd like to add that i tested the ripple of the ICE power supply
it is about 200 mVPP
is it normal or high
do you think that it could be the cause behind the troubles of the RIP and recon box.
regards

Any errors? Have you try erasing some of the old images and see if the problem goes away?(you might have a bad sector on the disk).
