I am struggeling with my Logiq 400 MD ultrasound device. It was off power for quite some time which caused the timekeeper battery to crash. I've learned from this forums that I might be able to connect the device to my computer with a nullmodem/serial cable and use Hyperterminal or Putty to receive/send commands directly to the device. I already tried it with putty but for some reason it does not connect properly - at least putty shows NOTHING. What I need:
a) the order of steps: what device do I power first, putty/hyperterminal or the ultrasound device?
b) the proper configuration for putty: Speed (baud), Data bits, stop bits, Parity (none, odd , even, mark, space), flow control (none, xon/xoff, rts/cts, dsr/dtr)
I'd be so thankful if anyone on this forums could help me with that. :-)
just read the service manual (it's free) first create the hyperterminal with all parameters (stop bit. Baud rate.....are in manual) then connect cable. Then turn on logic 400. Then write the command to initialize timekeeper. Thats it

i have a Logiq 400 when we power on the machine sow only 2 bars and on left side show CPU memory test OK and right side show this figures 2136319-4.and Battery ram is also dead i need solution and procedure for changing battery ram..Hope you will give me Kind reply
Please advice me any solution
if your laptop connection do not work , that means you do not use proper serial cable .
Check your cable .
HyperTerminal will work with auto settings .

I have the same problem, but tried connecting with hyperterminal and a 25 pin parallel cabel. I don't get any response. The commands to reprogram the battery are:
cd MSTPRG
ld BRST.lo

Can you tell me how to make the connection work? Does it need to be a 9 pin null modem cable?
Are you saying I need a db 9 pin connector for the computer side and a db 25 pin connector for the logic 400 side? Is that the reason my computer can't connect to the machine, because I am using the wrong port on the computer?

I have Logiq 400 GE ultrasound device. when it starts to boot up then goes off.
What might be the problem: the ram or harddisk
or something else.
