I have a problem with the Logiq Book XP.When I power it ON,the fans go on but nothing comes on the screen.I connected an external display but nothing comes on that too.Any suggestions?
Check the battery. The unit will not boot up or run normally with a low battery. If not battery, see if it will recognize the external CD used to reinstall the software.
Yes, that should be OK to not do that utility as it sounds like the application software got corrupted or you lost a sector on the hard drive that was fixed by the software reload.
There may be corrupted presets; try restoring the presets. There may be too many patient studies on the hard drive. Move them to a CD and ensure all patient studies are deleted. There is a database reset utility in the diagnostics (Utilities > Scanner Utilities) that will build a new database and will get rid of corrupted files that can cause the system to run slow or lockup. It that does not fix it, then try reloading software after making sure you have backed up the critical data.

Sounds like Jim's first response is probably going to be your best bet. First reload the software, and see what happens from there.
