I have a Logiq E manufactured in 2008 that came with 5.2.2 installed, but will not boot past the logo screen. Reinstalled, but still no luck.It boots fine with 4.0.6 from an older machine. Is the 5.2.2 incorrect software -- if so, what is the latest compatible version?
5.2.2 is a very common version of this software. It is compatible with 2008 systems. The latest Rev 5 software is 5.2.3. I can sell you a copy if you need it. Email me at iwlsr5@oh.rr.com.
2008 was when BT09 and software rev 5.2.2 came out. There should be a part number or model number on the bottom cover that will tell you what version it shipped at. A system that shipped at 5.2.x in the USA is model number 5323370.
That being said, there was not a significant hardware change from rev 4 to rev 5 so the system should run 5.2.x. Maybe your software installation disk is corrupted? There is a more recent version that came out, 5.2.3. The part number for the System and Applications software on DVD is 5322457-7, for USB it is part number 5448237.
Thanks. The only similar numbers I see on the bottom of mine are REF 5199704, and 5122757 next to the Windows XP embedded sticker. Could a hardware issue keep it from working on 5.x.x, but allow it to work on 4.xx?
If it is corrupt, would I see an error message during install, or might it be missing some files yet still complete to the point of saying to remove the disk and press any key to reboot? it would be interesting to see if another 5.2.2 copy or 5.2.3 would install and boot.

Is 5.2.3 likely to work if 5.2.2 doesn't? Mine goes through install okay, without any error messages, then says to remove disc and reboot.
