Hi guys, I am a Xray/CT service Engineer and I have a costumer asking me to look at problem on his US unit, I have not work on US before, anyway here is the problem; the unit boots and it shows all the alpha numeric character, but no image. Any help?
Alpha numeric after post, on the normal screen that the patients are scanned with all the regular information. but the normal image (in the center) of the patient/probe scan is not there
The next step is to hear the sound of the transducer, to do this you must approach the transducer, preferably the convex, you will hear a high frequency chirping, like a cricket, if you do not listen to it; Said transducer being selected. Then you have a malfunction in the high voltage source, which precisely feeds the transducer. The simplest case would be that the transducers are not well connected.
usually this happens if there is no contact with transducer, or not working transmitting and receiving board, can see screenshots of monitor? ramish73@mail.ru
If the US image is not present, probably the high voltage is faulty. Check all voltage test points first. Then, if it's OK, check the boards, visualy, BF, BE... reseat them, maybe the contact is bad...

Sounds like the video card is fried. I suggest finding out if the card Works, if not should be really cheap to replace.
When does the alphanumeric characters appear? Before or after POST? Can you boot into Windows Safe-Mode?

Hi, Juan!
LOGIQ P5 has an internal power supply that provides low and high voltages (60 - 120 VDC, for probes - under the right cover side).
It seems HV is missing, but I believe you can still see the image mask.
I'd began by testing its power supply, otherwise, it might be a front board or beamformers defective.
Maybe, one of the connected probes is in short circuit, disturbing the system.
Try each probe, once at the time, in all the three ports, to see if the image gets back.
Let us know, ok?
Good luck, take care, God Bless.
Kind regards,
MAC.

It looks like it has a problem with High Voltage that's why the scan area is missing.Try to check the APS Assy (Power Supply).

Thanks to all, it was the Power Supply, I wish this type of response was available on the CT and Xray equipments
