i am installing a lorad miv mamograph but i have a problem when the equipment finish the start up apear a message that i need entry the id and name patient to continued
i put a number in the field ID and depress the key enter and the system change the cursor to the field of name but show many characters ascii when i try entring name simply no change because the characters can´t erearse any idea ?

Are you sure what is S6-4 (DipSwith 6, pin 4) is OFF
and S4 in F position....please check it, pheraps, do you have a floppy with software ?....is possible what you need install the console software again..
if need more help, please contact me...i have complete service manual for this Lorad M-IV.

yes the dip switch are in this potitions i have the service and operator manuals but i dont habe the hardware and software disk do you have a copy for this?
