LUNAR DPX-IQ Communication problem when software loading

Hi, the 255-5 error appeared in a LUNAR DPX-IQ. I tested a serial mouse in the serial port it works normally. I also tried to load the application software version 4.7e but when the host was trying to connect to the SBC, a message appears indicating a communication problem. I tested the CPU in other table that is working and result is the same. I have changed the configuration of the serial port but it shows the same message. I tried with another CPU and It fails with the same error. I'll appreciate any suggestion.

Thanks everybody for the advises. The problem was solved with a correct configuration of the serial port. Now I have a problem with the QA. The counts at low and hi Kve seem to be under the normal values and the peak value fails. If someone have any suggestion please let me know.

You must the second serial port for the scanner (com2). I don't think that can be changed. Make sure you have a computer with two serial ports.

Hi, Efren
Check power supply +/-12Volts. Use a true rms voltmeter. Adjust it at least +/-12.10volts.
Check the communications cable and its MOV of SBC board side.
The serial port must be com2.
If problem no fix, please email me.

besides the obvious PS, have you check the Rs232 cable ?

you need to check the alignments of the collimator, xray tube and detectors.

Check the graph to see the historical behavior.
The QA wont pass, if you have a enough change between cals.
