I bought the lunar DPX-NT and when i run the QA daily. it failed at the longitudinal distance and trend analysis. the report said: mechanical tests: fail and Calibration tests: fail.

how do I fix these two problems? pls advise

Try to tighten the cables involved in that movement. Something similar happened to me and it was those steel cables that were not tightly tensioned.

This can be the stop sensors/switches for longitude. The distance is out of range. See if it seems to travel too far to one end before the switch is engaged. You can go into service mode with a password and run further test. ultrasoundman@juno.com

I fixed the longitudinal problem. now it is the trend analysis failed from the calibration category. so how do I fix that issue? thanks

Of the motor move the arm to both sides and then display this error maybe the microswitch adjustment

If you go into service mode and run Limit to Limit Test it will tell you if it is a limit switch problem and if so it will point you to the correct one
