Question for the group: I have a Luxtec 9175 light source that powers on and ignites the lamp just fine. But once the light source has warmed up, if it is then powered down, and back on again, the lamp will not ignite. Instead, the unit will repeatedly attempt to ignite at about one second intervals - and an arc will occur between the two heat sinks that support the contact-end and filament end of the lamp. So, clearly, the voltage is there (otherwise - no arc.) I am leaning towards the lamp - but they are expensive, and am curious if others have seen this issue and and solved it with a lamp replacement. Thanks -
